Midweek basketball is a popular grade increasingly attracting a younger mix of players both Men and Women.  This grade has a mix of teams who wish to play either competitively or socially.  It is a running clock set-up played in two halves.  Referees are normally provided, but on occasion players are expected to referee as part of their duty requirements.

This competition is played on Wednesday nights at Cowles Stadium during the regular basketball season (winter time).

Checkers Basketball enter teams into both the mens and womens midweek grades.

We do not cater for mixed teams.
