Napier City Rovers is proud to announce that it has been granted a Youth National League licence and will be partnering with Central Football for the Boys Youth National League 2023.
As a club deeply rooted in the community, we understand the significance of investing in youth development.
The National Youth League will provide an excellent opportunity for aspiring footballers within our region to compete at a high level, helping them grow and thrive in the professional environment provided by Napier City Rovers Football Club.
Graeme Sole, Napier City Rovers Chairman, says the club’s long-term vision has always been to produce not only exceptional football players but also well-rounded individuals who can make a positive impact both on and off the pitch.
“We firmly believe that investing in youth is investing in the future of football,” says Sole.
“We extend our gratitude to New Zealand Football and Central Football for recognising the club's commitment to youth development and granting us this Youth League License.
“As the competition approaches, we eagerly anticipate an exciting and competitive Youth League campaign. We look forward to seeing talented young players from throughout the Hawke’s Bay region thrive within this new
structure.
“This is a fantastic opportunity that can contribute positively to the growth and development of our young players across the region.”
The regular season kicks off in early September and all four Central Football teams will be competing for three spots at the Championship phase to be held in November.
