Hi all, It's been great to see a lot of your faces back at the Club for pre-season training, if only the weather would play ball when we'd like it to! Just a quick update to keep you in the loop with whats coming up.. Key dates coming up:
10 March - Varsity vs East Coast Bays Home pre-season game 1.30pm kick off bar and food available
15 March - Junior Club weigh in, Thursday at the Clubrooms 3.30-7pm
17 March - Junior Club weigh in Saturday at the Clubrooms 10am-2pm
4 April - Junior Club Coaches and Mangers season intro for 2018 6.30pm
5 April - Last Junior Preseason training session
6 April - Junior muster with internal and interclub preseason tournament – details TBC
10 Apri - Junior team training starts
14 April - First senior game kicks off! Varsity vs Eden - big sponsors day at the club.
17-19 April - Varsity Holiday Program
26 May - Junior Club Parents evening ARU OFFICIAL WEIGH INS Get 2018's rugby season sorted good and early with us at the the ARU official weigh in's next week Thursday or Saturday at the club rooms. There will also be a boot and short swap station, sausage sizzle, a sale on some old merchandise to take advantage of, and the bar will be open! All weigh ins done on the weigh in days next week will receive a free rugby ball. Please register here if you haven't already before coming to weigh in to stream line the process. As we will need all hands on deck to run this in we will not hold the U8-U13 pre-season training sessions, but there will be some fun activies on the field to entertain the kids. We currently have a limited short and sock supply available with our new Paladin apparel stock arriving on Thursday 22nd March. JUNIOR CLUB MUSTER We will be holding an internal and interclub preseason tournament muster on Friday 6th April. The draw will be confirmed closer to the event and your team managers/coaches will also be in touch about the games. We will have a tent set up with a sausage sizzle and non alcoholic drinks for sale out by the fields. Rippa Rugby - 4.30pm teams meet, 5pm games kick off.
