Welcome to this week's newsletter! Lots of information in this week's edition so pull up a chair, make a brew and read intently yeah? News - If you ran in any of the Great Forest Events, you're a competitive club member and you paid your membership subs before the end of April, you're entitled to an up to $25 rebate from the club. If all those things apply to you, e-mail the bean counter (mike.heron@outlook.co.nz) with your bank a/c details and which event you took part in to secure your $$$!
- The North Island Cross Country Champs are coming up on 6 July. This is a subsidised club trip (subsidy will be $80 fuel contribution per club car plus entry fee). It's a great event and a great opportunity for a weekend away with the club.
- Reply to this e-mail or comment on the club's Facebook post if you're interested.
- Expressions of Interest are now open for those wishing to represent the Wellington Centre at this winter's events. Fill in the form here.

Race results - Fantastic turnout at Event 2 of our Winter Series at Waikanae Park on Sunday. It was great to see an number of other clubs bring runners (and of course to see so many familiar faces too). Those chocolate chip cookies were pretty good aye?
- Lots of photos here. Results here.
Please let me know if you've taken part in an event (preferably before Wednesday) so it can be included in the newsletter (we do really like to celebrate performances). If you've read an interesting training article recently, let us know and we'll include it in an upcoming Training article of the week!

- As most people know, I love a good relay. They're a great way to combine two of my favourite activities - running and good-natured banter. I would love the club to be well represented at as many of these events as possible.
- Put these dates in your diary and be ready for the call when we start putting teams together. You won't regret it!
