Tena Koutou Katoa Woohoo - we are in Level 2. What does this mean for community sport? At this stage we can start a 3 stage approach to commencing the 2020 Rugby season.
1. PREPARE TO TRAIN 14 - 25th May No organised trainings or games. Clubs to liaise with CRFU to have appropriate hygiene protocols & contact tracing procedures in place.
2. PREPARE TO PLAY Dates TBC 4 week period Start team trainings, confirm teams, coaches, managers, playing fields, gear etc.
3. PLAY Dates TBC dependent on mass gathering restrictions However the season could possibly commence late June 2020.
As you'll appreciate we are all still under the directive of our National Government and we will take our lead from CRFU & NZR. Dates could change at any time. Otautahi RFC Committee.
HEALTH & SAFETY Otautahi Rugby is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our people.
