Kew Bush Handicap
59 runners participated in our event on Saturday
10 volunteers assisted during the set up and running of this event
The weather has not been kind to us this season, but that did not stop 59 runners from heading out onto our new cross-country course for a few laps.
Thank you Ian Densie for designing this course. It was epic!! There has been some amazing feedback.
For those of you that participated in your first Southland Harrier event, and there was few, a big warm welcome.
The Kew Bush course was a classic cross-country course. Mud, log jumps, short climbs into twists and turns, and some fast graveled paths. The handicapping was a little all over the place, but with our handicapper out of town and lots of new Harriers we took the easy route and got everyone to self handicap. So thank you everyone for your understanding and a few quick swaps seem to save the day.
Actual times will be available later in the week, and we will send out to participants.
Again thank you to everyone who registered early and arrived early to pick up your race numbers. They are yours to keep for the season, please bring along to our next Invercargill event.
SPOT PRIZE WINNERS:
