Kia ora koutou

This is the final newsletter for 2024 and I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all our parents, caregivers and whānau for your engagement and support throughout another very busy and productive year. We have recently taken delivery of ‘Kia Maumahara’, our 2024 school magazine, and it is only when looking back and reading through the 137 action packed pages that you get a sense of just how much our students and staff have achieved. If you have ordered your copy it is now available to collect from the front office up until 3pm 18th December, or from 22 January 2025, when the office re-opens.

Although most of our students have now begun their summer break we still have a group of 17 Year 11 and 12s who are taking part in a World Challenge adventure in Borneo until 19 December. Accompanied by Brenda McKenzie and Mark Fearon, this is an opportunity for students to enjoy an amazing experience in another country as well as contribute to local community projects. There will be a full report to come at the beginning of next year but in the meantime there are a couple of photos below for you to enjoy, or you can head over to our Facebook page for more updates.

IMPORTANT! Chromebooks, Chargers and Library Books to be returned

We are still wanting our Chromebooks and chargers returned asap.  We have over 20 Chromebooks and at least 50 chargers outstanding.  Please can you look and see if you have any of these lying around. We need these back so they can be checked for electrical compliance. If they are not returned we may not have sufficient devices available to support the students who need them next year.  We also need all overdue library books returned.
