Behind the Whistle is Here! Our Behind the Whistle campaign, a dynamic collaboration between Netball NZ and NETFIT NZ, launched in March and is all about celebrating, educating, recruiting, and retaining our umpiring community. The Behind the Whistle campaign is your one-stop spot for all things umpiring, including rule clarifications, beginner tips, quizzes, umpire stories and links to official resources. Whether you’re new to umpiring or just need a refresher, it’s all in one easy place. You may have seen the posts going out via Netball NZ and NETFIT NZ socials, don’t be shy to like, share, and repost! Your Centre should also now have access to campaign assets and resources to use throughout the season. Involved with a Centre and want to help spread the love? Pop up posters on noticeboards, run an appreciation event for your umpires and volunteers, or just tag us in your shoutouts. Access to umpiring info and support has never been easier, and we’re so proud to see umpires stepping into the spotlight. We’re buzzing to see where this campaign goes next and we’re glad you’re part of it! Explore our Umpire Hub here. |
