Here is your APRIL 2025 edition of the Sox Nation Insider.
This month, we celebrated a wave of exciting international action for our national teams. The Under-18 Junior Black Sox recently battled it out in a thrilling Trans-Tasman series against Australia, gaining invaluable experience on the diamond. Meanwhile, the U-23 Major Sox earned top seed honours during the WBSC U-23 Oceania Qualifier, overcoming Australia in a nail-biting final which saw them take it out a 3-games-to-two.
Looking ahead, all eyes turn to Canada this coming July. The New Zealand Black Sox are gearing up for the WBSC Men's Softball World Cup, having recently announced their squad, while both the Major Sox U-23 Women and the New Zealand White Sox will also be representing Aotearoa proudly at the prestigious Canada Cup.
