A warm(ish) welcome back after the school holiday break to all our junior members. No doubt the kids enjoyed the great conditions last Saturday and are fizzing for the final weeks of rugby. A big thanks to our volunteer coaches and managers that are back into the weekly training and games. The kids are so fortunate for your commitment and support and the club really appreciates all you do to provide a fun and safe experience for them to play rugby.  
 

Key Dates

A run down on some key dates for the weeks ahead:

• Photo Night - Wednesday July 30th: Photo night at the Petone Club Rooms. More details below.
• Junior Takeover - Saturday August 9th: A Junior takeover of the clubrooms – a chance to socialise for the parents and some fun and games for the kids. 
• Last Games - Saturday August 30th: Last games of the rugby for the season.
• Prizegiving - Saturday September 6th: Timings to be confirmed, but scheduled for Saturday afternoon/early evening at the Petone Club Rooms, with the opportunity to stay on and watch the All Blacks v South Africa match being played at Eden Park.

Photos

Our photo evening will be held in the Clubrooms next week, on the evening of Wednesday July 30. Coaches will share more details closer to the time, but below is the run sheet for photos, and a link for a few more details. Key things are:
 

• Kids to wear their clean playing jersey and shorts. No socks/boots required.
• We encourage teams to come through as per the schedule, but if you have a clash where your child can’t make the time, or you have siblings where it makes sense to do photos at the same time, then just slip in at another time that evening.
• Coaches for teams that would train Wednesday will confirm updated arrangements for you team’s training that night.
• All kids will receive team photos, with the option to purchase individual portraits/posters/player cards.
