This Saturday it is on! Our Southland Athletics Road Champs at Teretonga Raceway. Something for all our runners. 2.5kms, 5kms or 10kms.

Just a friendly reminder that we have begun the final countdown to the Teretonga 10 K. Entries close at 10pm on Wednesday 13 August. That is Wednesday!!!

PLEASE GET YOUR ENTRIES IN ASAP.

To answer the inevitable question, will we take late entries?

The answer for Southland Registered Athletics Club runners is a HARD NO. If you want to be eligible for medals or trophies you need to have entered by Wednesday night. NO EXCEPTIONS.

For Non Registered/Social/Community Athletes the entry form will close on Wednesday night, but we will take late entries on the day. Please arrive early and bring your $20 entry fee in cash with you.

If you are a Club runner your only late entry option will be to run in the Non Registered/Social/Community Athletes category and pay the $20 entry fee.

We have a received a good number of non-registered runners, and this year will be recognize 1st, 2nd and 3rd place not only for our Club runners in their age group, but each event will have its own open prize giving.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone and having a excellent day out on the track!!

Who will be the 2025 King and Queen of the Hill. One of our shortest but toughest events. From Stirling Point to Bluff Hill Lookout, and those who know, know it is no easy climb. Last year Lachie Watson took out King of the Hill in 14 minutes and 47 seconds. Queen of the Hill was Abby O'Boyle in 17 minutes 43 seconds. Will they be back to hold onto their crowns? Will someone new come in and take out top spot?

Like all of our handicap events there will be a staggered start, so everyone will have the experience of being chased or chasing another runner up the hill. Stirling Point Car Park can get busy so allow time to walk to the start line. Arrive early for check in and a 2pm sharp start time.

Join us afterwards for a drink and Hayz, downtown Bluff.
