Change of Plans

If you are heading to Manapouri this weekend, there has been a slight change of plans. All runners to meet at the  Manapouri Fire Station at 12:30 (please park around the back). Lester will make a run decision on the day depending on what tracks in the area are looking the most runnable. Home Creek is still the preferred option but if its to wet then we are likely to run one of the the Lake or Bush tracks in the area. Please bring a plate for a shared tea afterwards.

If anyone is looking for a ride up to Manapouri, please send us a message via messenger or email.

Congratulations to all the Southland Harrier Club Runners who travelled to Dunedin last weekend to compete over the different distances offered by the Emerson Marathon. By all accounts the weather and wind was challenging, but some fantastic results were recorded. Way to go Hudson Roy and Sean Iversen taking out 2nd and 3rd place overall in the 5km, fantastic effort. Hope you all have a little left in the tank for St. Pauls!!

St Pauls is still looking for a handful of volunteers for their event on the 28th of September. If you are heading to the event as a supporter and can lend a hand while you are there, please let us know via email, southlandharriers@gmail.com or messenger. This is the last Southland Harrier event of the season and the Southland Half Marathon Champs.  It would be great to see lots of club runners there across all the event distances, showing our support.
