From the Commodore

Welcome past Commodores, Honorary Life members, Veteran members, members and guests

The days are getting longer, and to help prove that, this weekend, the 28th September, is NZ Daylight Savings Time Changeover. Clocks will go forward 1 hour.

The Clubs proposed New Constitution Draft has been circulated via email for feed back, and comments. First draft reviews are being undertaken with the next version out shortly, following  a legal review, so it will hopefully be ready for presentation at the AGM.

SGM

A Special General Meeting is to be held on Sunday 5th October, re Zane and Kat Milne, and advance notice has been sent to all members.

2025 MCC AGM

The date has been set for Sunday 12th October, 2-4pm,  and the Opening Day will follow on Saturday 18th October.

Travel Lift

This has been out of action for the last week whilst new steel cables, and other maintenance work was carried out, to ensure it passed its  WOF. A huge thanks to Ted Coates for stepping in and helping the club out over this. We are now  back in operation, so get your bookings in for the pre-summer cleaning and anti-fouling.

Noumea Return Trip

Bruce Paulsen is looking for assistance to help bring his yacht back from Noumea to Picton, the on to Mana, in late October or early December at the latest, and it is  anticipated this is an 8 day trip.  Airfares are included to Noumea. Looking for 2 people with sailing experience preferred, so contact Bruce on Brucepaulsen11@gmail.com or 021467277

Dogs

A dog run wire has been installed outside the main wardroom doors for tying up of your dogs on the deck, along with 2 additional fixed hooks on the deck itself. These are in addition to the existing hooks on the out door seating.

Always happy to discuss any items personally with members at their leisure.

Membership Renewals

FINAL DATE FOR PAYMENTS OF SUBS IS 30th SEPTEMBER

If you have not paid your subs by 30th September your membership will be cancelled in terms of the club rules.

You will be able to apply to have your membership reinstated, but until this happens, you will not be able to enjoy the benefits of membership of the club.

If you have not received an email regarding your subs renewal, please contact Denise at the  office@manacc.co.nz

Credit Card Payments
Our Credit Card payment gateway provider has finally tracked down the issue affecting Mastercards and this problem has now been resolved

Please visit the Member's Portal https://manacc.nz to make a credit card payment - any payment to the club can be made through this facility.

As this is a portal for members only, registration ensures only current members can view the information. When you register, the system will check your membership number and email address exist in our membership database. If they do, you will be granted access immediately. If you get a message that you cannot register, please get in touch via email to support@manacc.nz

Cards, Flags and Stickers
If you have paid, these can be collected from the office or the bar. If you need them mailed to you, please contact Denise in the office.

If you have any questions, ideas for improvement or anything in relation to the membership process and membership portal, please let us know.

Thank you,
The Treasurer
