Our Under 23 Major Sox have officially announced their team for the 2026 WBSC U23 Men’s Softball World Cup in Colombia, marking the beginning of an exciting campaign on the road to the world stage. Meanwhile, the Junior White Sox are gearing up for a busy stretch, naming three squads to compete at the Saints Tournament, Bev Smith Memorial and Australian Under 23 State Championships over the next two months.
And the good news doesn’t stop there — the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) revealed their Annual Award Winners at their Congress this past weekend and we’ve got a national reason to cheer. Liam Potts has been named the 2025 Softball Player of the Year! 🙌 An incredible achievement and a proud moment for New Zealand softball.
