Southland Harriers Opening Day 2026 All welcome, come and join us for the Southland Harriers Opening Day 2026 at Queens Park, Invercargill. Wether you are a seasoned runner or just looking for an active afternoon out with the family, everyone is welcome to join us, for a 3km lap around Queens Park. How many laps and how far you choose. 1lap= 3km, 2laps= 6km or 3laps= 9kms. This is a free event, and afterwards we offer all particapants a free drink or ice-block at the Cheeky Llama. This is a chance for you to have a chat to a Southland Harrier and find out what our running/walking season is all about. Please arrive at 1:30 for check in and a sharp 2pm start. If you decided to change your distance on the day, no worries, just let us know so we can ensure accurate results. See you there!!
