Club opening Saturday at Delta Level 2

Kelburn Municipal Croquet Club will re-open for play from 9.30 am on Saturday 11 September, under the new Covid Delta Level 2 conditions, which are summarised below.

The previously-advised formal opening and lunch is cancelled.

The Committee will meet on Thursday 9 September to confirm changes to other events planned for the coming weeks, and will advise members of the changes via an issue of the monthly newsletter soon.

If you come to play croquet on Saturday 11th, please note these are some of the measures we are taking for your protection.

  1. Please scan in with the QR code on arrival, use the hand sanitiser, and sign the attendance book.
  2. Two-metre distancing is to be observed on and off the lawns.
  3. Masks should be worn.
  4. Entry to the club house will be controlled to avoid too many people entering at any one time and is only for access to the toilets or lockers. The main room and kitchen should not be entered.

Lawns will be allocated as people arrive.

If you bring refreshments, you will need to sit well away from others not in your bubble when removing your mask to eat or drink.

Use of play equipment will be minimised, and designated people will be responsible for cleaning and sanitising all items used. Hand sanitiser is not good for croquet balls, so please avoid moving them with your hands.

Thank you all for your patience and help observing these conditions.
