Sport Manawatū Board Update

The Sport Manawatū AGM was held in September at the Manawatū Golf Club and the Board welcomed a new Chairperson, two new board members, and farewelled three board members.

The new Chair, Shayne Harris welcomed new board members, Danielle Balmer and Sandra Lynch.  Balmer brings experience in communications and marketing to the board table, as well as experience and connections at a local community sports club level.

Lynch is the Executive Manager of Badminton Manawatū and brings to the board table experience in coaching at all levels and understanding of the challenges and opportunities for Regional Sports Organisations.

Both new board members are excited to bring a different viewpoint to the table and assist Sport Manawatū to lead and support our sector moving into the future.
