2. Umpires

Two umpires to each game. All grades are required to provide an umpire to umpire their own team (for Year 3-4 this will be the coach as per Mother Earth futureFERNS rules). Please ensure that you have one team umpire, if possible, that umpires the entire game. Umpires are not required to time as well, please note each team must provide a timekeeper for each game.

CNC may be able to provide some umpires for Year 5-8 games upon request on a first in, first served basis. Email Pam at whistlers@cnc.org.nz if you would like to request an umpire.

Please note that if your team does not supply an umpire, a player or coach will have to take on this responsibility. Whistles for Year 5-6 and Year 7-8 games can be purchased for $5 from the tournament office.

3. Rainbow Rules

Each team will be given a team card. Every team starts on the first level of the Rainbow – Violet.
