Rugby Smart Courses 2023
We have a specifically run Rugby Smart course for secondary school coaches we welcome any secondary school coaches who may want to attend.
**Rugby Smart is a compulsory course that all coaches must attend**

Including Year 7/8 coaches up to 1st XV Rugby (Boys and Girls)
Wednesday 1st February - Coromandel Rugby Club 6pm- 8pm
Wednesday 22nd February - Paeroa Sports Club 6pm - 8pm
*please note 3 ways to complete Rugby Smart for 2023. Participants will be able to choose one of the following:
- Practical (dates above)
-Online (dates TBC)
-Webinar (dates TBC)
Associate Referee Courses :
Gives coaches, students & adults the skills and confidence to referee up to 1st XV/Under 18 school rugby. Each associate referee will receive an official referee jersey for the season. This is the first step in rugby refereeing in the Thames Valley.
6pm-8pm
1. Wednesday 26th April at Waihou Rugby and Sports club, Te Aroha
2. Wednesday 3rd May at Waihi Athletic Sports Club
3. Monday 15th May at Mercury Bay Rugby and Sports Club, Whitianga
