In Canterbury, Teenage Rugby are the grades from Under 14 through to Under 18, and also the First XV competitions, the Miles Toyota Championship (Boys) and Miles Toyota Cup (Girls) . Our competitions are unique in that Clubs and Schools play together. Although teams are mixed in the Junior grades, in the Teenage grades girls have separate competitions.
Our three Sub-Unions (Ellesmere, Metro and North Canterbury) manage various grades within this age range, while the Girls grade (Under 17) is Combined between all three Sub-Unions and there are also Combined Country Competitions for the Under 16 and Under 18 grades between Ellesmere and North Canterbury. Below are the grades that each Sub Union manages.
