Cricket Wellington is calling for Expressions of Interest for several male and female age-group coaching positions within our Player Development Programmes (PDP):

Junior Player Development Programme x 6 contract roles:

• U13 Girls Head Coaches x 2
• Year 9 Boys Programme Head Coach
• U15 Girls Head Coaches x 2
• Year 10 Boys Programme Head Coach

Youth Player Development Programme x 5 contract roles:

• U17 Boys Head and Assistant Coach
• U19 Women’s Head and Assistant Coach
• U19 Men’s Assistant Coach

Applicants can express interest in more than one position.

The roles are to lead or assist squad coaching of players within our Junior Player Development programmes (Year 9 and 10 boys and U13 and U15 girls) and Youth Player Development Programmes (U17 boys and U19 Men and Women)  as well as team coaching at their respective tournaments and games. There will also be small group coaching with players identified through the PDP.

Purpose of the programmes

1. The foundation of our PDP is to create an environment that promotes learning
2. Creating an environment where players can develop an awareness of their game and the skills they need to play at a representative level consistently
3. Expose players to key elements of Firebirds and Blaze processes
