FC Twenty 11 – Junior Development Program Coaches for 2026
We are proud to announce the coaching lineup for the 2026 Junior Development Program across the U9, U10, U11 and U12 grades. Each coach brings valuable experience, passion and commitment to supporting the growth of our young players. Learn more about the coaches leading each grade below.
U9 Development Program – 2026 Coaches
Phil Godsiff - Junior Level 3 License
Phil is a parent of two boys at the club and has been coaching for several seasons. In 2025 he led the U11 Boys Shamrock team, where the players thrived under his care. Phil recently achieved his Junior Level 3 licence, reflecting his hard work and dedication to coaching. The U9s will benefit greatly from his enthusiasm, knowledge and care for the children.
Simon Darby - C License
Simon is a life member of FC Twenty 11 and a familiar face around the club. He has coached players from 5 years old through to the Senior Men’s team and brings many years of experience to the U9 grade. Simon holds an OFC C-Licence and is currently working toward his B Licence. We are fortunate to have his expertise guiding our junior players in 2026.
David Coster
David has been involved in football for many years as a player, coach and passionate fan. His focus is on developing skills and understanding of the game while never losing sight of fun and enjoyment. He has coached all age groups from 4-year-olds to senior players and continues to play for one of our Masters 50s teams. David’s love for football and people makes him a great fit for the U9 programme.
U10 Development Program – 2026 Coaches
Phil Green - JL3 & C License
Phil has been a long-standing contributor to FC Twenty 11 as a player, coach, volunteer and former board chair. He holds both his OFC C-Licence and Junior Level 3 qualification and has coached a wide range of age groups, including our U13 CDL and U9 teams. Phil brings knowledge, energy and passion to coaching and we are excited to have him working with the U10s in 2026.
Andrew Sawyer - Pursuing JL3
Andrew has been part of the club since he was five years old, progressing all the way through from First Kicks to youth football. In recent years he has become an enthusiastic and capable coach, leading First Kicks and Fun Football programmes and coaching one of our U9 Development teams in 2025. Andrew is currently completing his Junior Level 3 and we are pleased to have him returning for the 2026 season.

Brian Shin
Brian is an experienced player who has played at a high level both in Korea and New Zealand. Brian was also a former member of FC Twenty 11's first team. Brian will be sharing his knowledge to support our U10s!
Gareth Preston
Gareth Preston is an experienced coach who we are delighted to bring on board in 2026. Gareth has had years of experience coaching at all levels of the game. Gareth is a great asset to our club and we look forward to welcoming him in 2026 to assist our development teams & coaches!
U11 Development Program – 2026 Coaches
Nicholas Nuon - Pursuing JL3
Nicholas joins the coaching team in 2026 and is well known in New Zealand as a pioneer of Street Football, having delivered many street football programmes and tournaments. He now brings his creativity and flair into the traditional football space. Nicholas recently completed the Junior Level 3 course and we look forward to seeing the impact he will have on the U11 Development Program.
Mark Teesdale - Junior Level 3
After a successful season coaching the U10s in 2025, we are thrilled to have Mark return in 2026. Mark has played at the highest level in New Zealand and is passionate about developing the next generation of players. His dedication has already produced excellent progress within the junior programme. Mark holds a Junior Level 3 licence, the highest junior coaching qualification in the country, and will once again be a strong leader for the U11s.
U12 Development Program – 2026 Coaches
Will Morgan - JL3 & C License
Will is the club’s Director of Junior Football and brings both playing and coaching experience to the role. He is a Junior Level 3 and OFC C-Licensed coach and has been part of FC Twenty 11 since 2013, progressing through the Junior and Youth Development Program before making his First Team debut at just 15 years old. Will has coached across multiple age groups from First Kicks to U14, and led our U12s to a fantastic season in 2025. He now looks forward to a new challenge in 2026 and continuing to support the development of our young players.
Ryan Lim - Pursuing JL3
Ryan will be entering his second year of coaching at FC Twenty 11 in 2026. In 2025 he led our U13 Community Team and now steps into the Development space, working alongside Will to lead the U12 Development Program. Ryan has recently completed his Junior Level 3 licence and is a passionate, committed coach. We are delighted to have him involved again and look forward to the positive impact he will bring to the U12s in 2026.
