Earlier today, New Zealand Football announced the Football Ferns squad that’ll take on Japan next month in Wellington.

Head Coach, Andreas Heraf has named five AFF affiliated players in his squad, including two un-capped members hoping to make their debut.

Papakura City’s Steph Skilton returns to the side after a strong performance against Scotland in the double header back in March.

Alongside Skilton, Three Kings United’s Paige Satchell returns to the international scene, after overcoming an ACL injury she suffered from early last year.

Western Springs will have three representatives, with Liz Anton, Sarah Morton and Nadia Olla all being named in the squad. Olla and Morton are included as the two un-capped players inside the Football Ferns camp.

The match will kick off at Westpac Stadium on the 10th of June.
