Three Kings United Duo score in Women's U17s Victory over Chile


The New Zealand U17 Women's team have kicked off their first taste of international action with a win over Chile at a tournament held in China.

Ella Russ and Kate Duncan (Both Three Kings United) were on the scoresheet with New Zealand taking the lead very early on in the match.

Russ with a goal inside the first minute, with Duncan slotting in her goal eight minutes later.

Eastern Suburbs' Alisha Braun also made an appearance, replacing Ava Pritchard in the 55th minute. 

The Women's U17s side led by Leon Birnie take on China and Thailand later on in the tournament.
