Adam Paulsen is one of AFF’s most talented futsal players to ever step onto the court for the Federation.
The Selwyn College Head Boy came through the ranks of AFF representing the Federation at every age group, including the U12s when that was a thing.
In his fourth season with the AFF Senior team Paulsen has managed to embed himself as a regular in the squad, featuring in both the Home Series and the Travel Series for AFF in 2019.
“It’s great to be involved in the senior side after coming through the youth ranks” Paulsen said.
“It means a lot to me as my hard work and commitment is being recognized by the gaffer with the reward of playing in the Senior team."
“It allows me to continue my development and hopefully help the team win more games and more titles.”

Pauslen was part of last year’s Men’s Futsal SuperLeague winning side.
On top of progressing through the AFF talent pathway, Paulsen has also represented New Zealand at U18 level.
In 2017, the AFF Flanker featured in a Qualifying tournament for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games.
New Zealand failed to qualify after losing out to the Solomon Islands by 6-1.
Paulsen told AFF media that the opportunity to represent his country was an experience he will never forget, and the flanker is hoping to do it again, this time for the Senior team.
“It was a great experience to represent my country at age group level” Paulsen said.
“To be given the opportunity to represent the senior national team in the near future would be a great honour.”
“It would give me the chance to test myself against the best in Oceania.”
