Years 5 and 6 Floorball 2025

Floorball is a fast-growing type of hockey played indoors with plastic sticks and a lightweight plastic ball with holes.​​​​​​​


LEVELS          

Years 5 and 6.


TERMS          

Terms 1 and 4.


TEAM SIZE

The ideal number is 6-7 players. There are 4 in the rink at one time. 1 goalie and 3 field players in the rink.


GAME LENGTH

2 x 10-minute halves, with a 2-minute break in between.

$50 per term (TBC).


COMPETITION

Year 5-6Tuesdays Beginning mid February 4:00pm - 6:00pmĀkau Tangi Sports Centre (ASB) Sports Centre


Dependant on player numbers, we may need to make a combined team with our intermediate players. This would mean games take place at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre on Thursday nights. We will communicate this with families after registrations close. 


PRACTICES             

One practice per week, day is TBC depending on coaches availability.


UNIFORM             

School PE shorts and blue PE top, good non-slip sports shoes, and white ankle socks.
