This is an aerial photo of Sunnynook in 1973.  Two league fields out on Sunnynook Park.  The clubrooms are starting to be built next to the existing Community Centre.  In the background the Northern Motorway is being constructed with the Sunnynook Road overbridge.  The empty land across from the club is of course where the Shopping Centre is now.  And for those that can remember you can see the Sunnynook Motors garage.  The forest area to the left is where Wairau Intermediate School is now.
