WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE FOR THE GREYMOUTH AMATEUR SWIMMING CLUB.
The Greymouth Amateur Swimming Club is affiliated to Swimming Canterbury West Coast, who in turn is affiliated to the national body - Swimming New Zealand.
The club operates from the Westland Recreation Centre which offers an 8 lane, 25m Competition Pool. The club operates from September until the end of March.

CLUB OBJECTIVE
The main objective of the Greymouth Amateur Swimming Club is to
PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE A KNOWLEDGE OF SWIMMING IN OUR COMMUNITY
We do not operate a learn to swim function, however we are able to instruct on all swimming strokes to enable swimmers to improve overall fitness with in-water and dry-land trainings, perfecting technique and focussing on competitive swimming and personal achievement.
You may be of any age to join the Greymouth Amateur Swimming Club but you must be able to swim 50m or have achieved Level 5 Swim Safe Certification.
