Welcome to Halswell Netball Club!

Halswell Netball Club is one of the longest standing clubs participating in the Christchurch Netball Centre competition.

We are excited to have our A team return to the Premier Grade after a successful 2021 season where they took out the title for Senior.  They will be playing indoors on Saturday's at St Margaret's College.  CNC have also annouched new grades for 2022 and our B and C teams will begin the season in the Challenge Grade and the rest of our senior teams in the Open Grade.  These games are still playing on Saturday's at Hagley Netball Courts.

Last but not least, we have our future stars of the club in our junior teams. Starting with our little ones in the ANZ Future Ferns through to all of the Age Grades.

Changes to the Committee (Commencing AGM)

Sadly, our President and Secretary Krissy Newton has stepped away from the role this year due to a move out of Christchurch and after many years involved as Treasurer, Jo Smith has also stepped away from this position.

However, we are pleased to announce that we have filled two of these roles!  Lisa Reed will be taking over Secretary and Laura Wheeler is our new Treasurer!  You probably recognise their names (if not their faces) as they have both been involved on the committee for a number of years.  They are both excited about what they can offer to the club and looking forward to working with you all in a more management role!

We are also currently looking for more people to join our small and wonderful committee.  At the moment, we only have enough members to make up a committee which makes running the club a bit more difficult.  We would love to be able to support more teams on a Saturday, but as the committee is mainly made up of current senior players, it makes getting around to all the teams on a Saturday very hard.

If you are a parent looking to help build the club, or just interested in seeing how we operate, please contact us and let us know!  We would love to have you on board!
