2021 Senior Club Winter Competition Cancelled

North Harbour Hockey in consultation with the Council of Clubs (COC) has made the decision to cancel the remaining two weeks of the Senior Competition.

Due to the latest Government announcement extending level 4 for a further week and the limited time left before the agreed final date of play it is no longer feasible to play out the final weeks.

NHHA is now working with Clubs to ensure that the promotion relegation matches are played as soon as it is safe to do so. The intention is to play these matches within the agreed play dates 2nd & 3rd of October, if this is not achievable NHHA will consult with the COC to determine alternate options.

We understand that this is a disappointing end to our season with not being able to finish in true Harbour finals style however we are grateful to have played 18 of the 20 weeks. Please note that due to not completing finals no final placings will be awarded for 2021.

Refunds will be applied to Clubs as per the 2021 Competition Refund Policy. Clubs will not be charged for games not played and will be refunded a pro-rata % of the NHHA subscription fee. Please contact your club if you have any queries regarding the cancellation or refunds.

NHHA would like to thank all our club administrators, players, coaches, managers, umpires, volunteers, and spectators for the 2021 winter season. We look forward to seeing you over the summer.

Stay safe
