When do team registrations open?
October Tournaments - July.

When will draws be available?
Approximately one week before each tournament starts

Can we take more players than the suggested amount?
Yes, there will be an extra cost if your team stays at the hostel.

What is the process if it rains?
Games are played across Hawke's Bay. In almost all cases, teams go to the grounds, and coaches make decisions on play.  
If it is very wet, groundstaff may cancel cricket, and teams will be notified by email or text message.
Please don't overthink the long ranch forecast; experience tells us that it will change.

If our team stays at the hostel and not all players want to stay, is there a discounted price?
No, it is a set fee.

Do you provide accommodation at the hostel the night prior if we plan to travel the day before? 
Yes, you can organise this with the hostel manager, and you’ll pay the school directly

Can you enter as an individual?
No, you must be part of a team however, on some occasions, we will put together an Invitation team if we have an odd number of teams in a grade that individuals can register for online at https://www.sporty.co.nz/hbca/january-cricket-camp-1/invitation-teams

What grade do we play in?
Grades are based on what School Year the players are in for Term 4.

Where do we play the games?

Travel from the hostel to the grounds takes no longer than 20 minutes.

Do you provide an umpire and scorer for games? 
Teams provide their own umpire and scorer.

When is payment due?
The fee is payable before the start of the tournament.
