Touch Rugby- mixed

Touch Rugby is an exciting and dynamic sport, with simple rules and a fast pace. Its non-contact, highly active focus means it is often a healthy, injury-free and inclusive sport to participate in.

Our touch rugby programme is constantly growing with the number of students who love playing touch rugby. Our junior programme is all about having fun while students learn the skills and strategies needed to know how to play. It is a fun and enjoyable sport made for any keen sportsperson. We encourage both participation and high-performance development with the aim to compete at regional and national levels.

Howick College has achieved great success in the recent years with New Zealand Secondary Schools Senior Mixed Touch Rugby National Championship titles two years in a row!
