MID-TERM BREAK ACTIVITIES - June 3 to 6

Multi-Sport Fun | Farm to Plate Cooking | All Day Care

If you're looking to keep your child entertained & engaged during the upcoming mid-term break, we've got three activities held on school grounds that will do just that. 

All Day Care - Tuesday 3 June to Friday 6 June

Nicky Hanaray and Megan McKay are back with four days of crafts, games and fun for our younger students!

Where - The Hereworth Performing Arts Centre

When - 8am to 3pm, Tuesday 3 to Friday 6 June

What to bring - A packed lunch, morning/afternoon tea, and a water bottle.

Cost - $40 per day, and as many days as you want.

From 8am to 3pm our experienced team will provide a caring, engaging environment for students in Years 0 – 6. And with King's Birthday and Matariki on the calendar, you can guarantee that Nicky and Megan will have some special surprises in store!

This is held in our Anna Stuck Performing Arts Centre, making dropping off and picking up an absolute breeze.

Farm to Plate - Wednesday 4 June to Friday 6 June

Our resident teacher/chef Mr Jon Lovell will be serving up a cooking masterclass in our Hereworth kitchens, alongside his daughter Imogen, for students in Years 4 - 8.

In this three-day cooking course, your child will learn all about the principles of 'Farm to Plate', experience a ton of kitchen/garden skills, and of course... eat the results! Here's what Jon has prepared for each daily menu  -

Day 1: Wednesday 4th June – "Pipi's Pizza & Pasta"

Day 2: Thursday 5th June – "Mexican Magic"

Day 3: Friday 6th June – "Asian Fusion"

Students will also receive a printed selection of recipes, lunch each day and a small dinner box to share with their families once the day is done.

Where - The Hereworth Kitchens, from 9.00am to 3.00pm.

What to bring - covered shoes, two tea towels each, snacks for afternoon/morning tea.

Multi-Sport Programme - Tuesday 3 June to Thursday 5 June

Get ready for three days of sport, competition, and skills all held in our fantastic Sports Centre for students in Years 4 - 8.

Our Tennis Coach Janine Perkinson is teaming up with our Cricket Coach Bayley Wiggins to oversee a programme that will have your child learning new skills, working as part of a team, and (most of all) having a lot of fun.

Where - The Hereworth Sports Centre from 9am to 3pm each day.

Cost: Cricket Academy Members - $72.50 per day | Non-Academy Members -  $85 per day.

What to bring - A packed lunch, morning/afternoon tea, towel, hat, a drink and any medication needed.
