Introduction:
Highland dancing is a competitive and technical dance form requiring technique, stamina, and strength. It is recognised as a sport by the Sport Council of Scotland.
Season:
Lessons are held during school term time.
Events / Tournaments:
Competitions are held locally on a regular basis with major competitions held at the Waipu Highland Games and the Whangarei Summer Show
