​​​​​​​Welcome to the Halswell Rugby League Netball Club (HRLNC)​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

HRLNC is located in Halswell. Training is held during the week at the Halswell Netball Courts in the Halswell Domain behind the Halswell Tennis Club. Games are played indoors at the Selwyn Sports Centre in Rolleston and outdoors at the Selwyn Netball Centre in Lincoln.

2025 Pre-Season Training​​​​​​​

Senior Year 9 & older - Sunday 16 February, Sunday 23 February & Sunday 2 March - time to be confirmed

Primary Year 7 & 8 - Sunday 16 February, Sunday 23 February & Sunday 2 March - time to be confirmed

Primary Year 5 & 6 - Sunday 23 March & Sunday 30 March - time to be confirmed

Trials / Team Set Up

All of these are held indoors at the Lincoln Event Centre. All players must attend or email the club hrlnetballclub@gmail.com

Seniors (Year 9 and older) - Monday 10 March 5:30 - 8:30pm, Friday 14 March 5:30 - 8:30pm & Monday 17 March 5:30 - 8:30pm

Seniors - you will need to pay a $30 trial fee before you trial - this will become part of your Sub once you accept your position in the team. When you come to the trial, we will make note of the two positions you wish to trial for.

Note - SNC also has a Mixed High School grade which allows for teams with up to three male players to play in a non competitive grade. Please email the club if you are interested in entering a team.

Social and Masters - feel free to attend pre season, there is no trial, but please email the club with your team lists. Masters teams also need to let us know whether you want to play on Thursday nights or Saturdays.

Year 7 & 8 -  Saturday 15 March 2:30 - 4:30pm

Year 7 & 8 players - this is not a trial, but about getting players of similar ability and year level into teams with similar numbers. It is easier for us to be able to see the players on court than try and place players into teams on paper.

Year 5 & 6 - This year we are going to set up teams during the pre-season training sessions. If you are unable to attend pre-season training please email the club with a couple of friend's names so that we can do our best to put you in the same team.

Junior Netball Year 1-4  - We will place players into teams depending on which day you would like to play. Netball for this age group is indoors on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday afternoons at the Selwyn Sports Centre in Rolleston. On your registration form there is a tick box to select a day to play.

Your involvement means attending meetings and helping at events like our trials, uniform collection, clubs nights, uniform return and end of season prizegiving.

We like to have people on the committee from all levels of the Club - Junior, Primary, Senior, Social and Masters so all levels have a voice over decision making
