CODE OF CONDUCT

Thank you for coming and providing support to the players.

Your presence is welcome and appreciated.

Just a reminder, as a parent/caregiver/supporter, once players are on court, your role is that of a positive respectful spectator.

Please remember that you are NOT here to:

Umpire
Keep score
Coach
Manage
Make line calls
Interfere with what happens on court
Yell or make remarks that aren’t positive and encouraging

If you have any problems then please contact your school/club netball administrator/delegate.

They are responsible in making sure that the rules are adhered to and games are supported in a POSITIVE and FUN sporting manner.

We are excited to announce local business PHYSIO FLEX and community supporter of Kaipara Netball has generously provided sponsorship this season to have naming rights for our Year 7&8 Netball Grade.

All 15 teams who have registered this season will be participating in the PHYSIO FLEX YEAR 7&8 NETBALL COMPETITION.

Not only are we thrilled to have their support again they will be setup at the courts each Saturday to provide a Community Physio Hub for all our Kaipara Netball players and local sporting codes.

Experts in injury management, Physio Flex will have all your injury needs covered for the season with Physiotherapist Sophia Forlong who can assess and provide treatment for all our players.

No appointment needed as this is a walk in clinic. They can complete your ACC claim and refer for xrays if needed and will have some supplies in stock such as ankle braces, knee supports, tape supplies and more.

A walk in fee of $5 applies and Kaipara Netball players will receive a discounted rate if they attend PHYSIO FLEX at 10 Commercial Road, Helensville for ongoing injury treatment.

BECOME UMPIRE READY FOR THE SEASON

Kaipara Netball can help you become umpire ready for the upcoming season by providing you with all the necessary tools to support you to become an umpire.

All club and school umpires are required to attend the Umpire Development Workshops below prior to taking the court before competition starts.

UMPIRE DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

PART ONE: Saturday 6th April, 2024, 9.00am -12.00pm

Year 7&8 7v7 game format
New 2024 Umpire Rule Changes
Introduction to Netball Umpiring

UMPIRE DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

PART TWO: Sunday 7th April, 2024, 9.00am - 1.00pm

All umpires will be given a practical opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge by taking part in a centre run Pre Season fun tournament for Year 5-8 players. All umpires will be allocated games to umpire with support from the Umpire Coordinator.
