Welcome to the Kaipara Flats (KF) Netball Club
We are a small, friendly club that welcomes players of all ages and levels of experience.
SENIORS
Our seniors play in the Rodney Netball Centre competition at Centennial Park, Wellsford on Friday nights.
Trainings are generally held on a Thursday at the Kaipara Flats Sports Club (after which you can grab a drink and dinner at the Club, open from 5:30 pm).
JUNIORS (Years 1 -8)
This year, depending on interest levels, we are looking to enter teams into both the:
- Saturday competition run by Rodney Netball Centre at Wellsford; and
- Tuesday night competition run by Netball North Harbour at Warkworth.
See further information in relation to both competitions below. Please complete the corresponding registration form (if your child is wanting to play both - please fill out the form for Wellsford and pick that option on the form)
Please also note that our ability to enter teams in each grade/competition will be dependent on numbers and parent volunteers to coach and manage the teams. We will try our best to accomodate everyone playing where they want to but teams will be confirmed following the close of registrations. *Please do not pay fees until we have confirmed the teams*
Trainings

Y1/2 Future Ferns programme 4 v 4, (Games 9:45am)
Y3/4 Future Ferns programme 5v 5 (Game times between 8.45am and 12.30pm)
Y5/6 Future Ferns programme 6v6 (Game times between 8.45am and 12.30pm)
Y6 Normal netball rules 7v7 (Game times between 8.45am and 12.30pm)
Y7/8 Normal netball rules 7 v 7 (Game times between 8.45am and 12.30pm)

Playing options:
Y1/2 Future Ferns programme 4 v 4, (Game times 4pm or 4.50pm)
Y3 Future Ferns programme 5v 5 (Game times 4pm or 4.50pm)
Y4 playing Future Ferns 5v5 for the first 6 weeks; for the second 6 weeks will play 6 v 6 (Game times 4pm or 4.50pm)
Y5/6: Normal netball rules 7 v 7 (Game times 5.40pm and 6.30pm)

2025 IMPORTANT DATES
1 March – Registrations open
13 March - Junior 'Have a Go' day - held at Kaipara Flats Sports Club (Y1-4: 3.30pm – 4.15pm and Y5-8 4.30-5.15). No need to register; just come along and have a go!
30 March - Registrations close
13 April - Last day for payment of fees
1 May - Seniors start (Wellsford)
2 May - Y5/6 grade starts (Wellsford)
6 May – All junior grades start at Warkworth
9 May - Y1/2 and Y3/4 grades start (Wellsford)
FEES
Senior (including college-aged students playing in a senior team): $220 (includes a $30 Sport Club Fee)
College (Y9-13, playing in college teams only): $190
Junior Wellsford Fees:
Years 5 – 8: $130
Years 3 – 4: $80
Years 1 – 2:$70
Junior Warkworth Fees
Years 5 – 6: $100
Years 3 - 4: $80
Years 1 - 2: $70
