Parent/Teacher interviews are usually held twice a year.
In 2019, the Term 2 interviews took place on Tuesday, 7th May between 3.30pm and 7.30pm to give flexibility to parents/caregivers who are unable to attend due to shift work or other commitments.
Senior students had interviews in Term 3 (Wednesday, 7th August) between 3.30pm and 7.30pm.
Prior to the Interview date, students are usually given a "Parent/Teacher Interview Appointments" sheet to bring home. This year, we will be using SchoolPoint where parents/caregivers can book an on-line appointment with their student's subject teachers. Letters will be sent home prior to the interviews advising more about this process.
Progress & Pathway Conversations : Parent Interviews (formerly known as Academic Counselling)
Parents and Caregivers are invited to speak with their students' Whanau Group teacher and discuss progress, (particularly towards NCEA), next steps for their current year, future directions and finally subjects for the following year. This meeting is a real opportunity for all of us to work together to support students' achievement.
There are no scheduled classes on this day for any students. However, Years 11-13 are to be at the interviews with Parents/Caregivers.
The Senior 2019 Term 3 Progress & Pathway Conversations were held on Thursday, 29th August, between 11.00am and 7.00pm.
