Kapiti Working Equitation Group

Working Equitation is the world's fastest growing equestrian sport. Originally created in the 1990's to showcase the European working horse skills the sport has gained popularity in many parts of the world.

The Kapiti Working Equitation Group started in late 2018, when Belinda Rodriguez loaned the group several portable obstacles. We have since hosted many practice days at Abby Letteri's arena on Otaki Gorge Road and in the last couple of years we have held an annual competition in Febuary to showcase the sport.

We are committed to continuing education of our members and hold many clinics with Sarah Blackburne, Lynley Bolt, Maree McAteer and Jody Hartstone.
