Game timing

Games take place on Saturdays throughout the day at Altum Classical Academy in Wilton.​​​​​​​

Game format & club rules

For 2026, both year 7 & 8 teams and year 5 & 6 teams will be playing 7-aside.

Year 3 & 4 teams will play 5-aside.

​​​​​​​Health & Safety

No dogs are allowed at Cardinal McKeefry during WWN netball games. This includes on the grass.​​​​​​​

Jewellery/nails/hair

• No earrings/jewellery/watches are to be worn during the competition - earrings are not allowed to be taped and must be removed for each game.
• Nails must be kept short - these are checked by umpires before every game.
• Hair - for safe play this must be tied back to allow clear vision.​​​​​​​

General information

The Kelburn Normal School Netball Club is one of the largest clubs in the school and has many children taking part in the Wellington West winter netball league. Both girls and boys are welcome to play.

The club is run by a committee of volunteers. There is training available for all levels for coaches (see Coaching Tab). Please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like to be involved.

To register a player please complete the player registration form and pay subs by POLi or bank transfer.

Subs

Year 2:  $30 per child

Year 3 -4: $75 per child (includes team photo)

Year 5-8: $105 per child (includes team photo and umpire fees).

(There is a 1% surcharge to cover the cost of the POLI transaction added on checkout).

We do not want cost to be an obstacle to a child playing netball. If you are unable to pay the registration fee, please email the club, and we can help with this cost.

Hoodies

These are $70 and you can order your hoodie  when you register.

Uniforms

Year 7-8:  Uniforms are provided by the club.

Year 3-6: Skirts are provided by the club and children wear a KNS t-shirt which can be purchased from the office. Boys and girls have the option of wearing dark shorts. Kelburn Normal sells school shorts at the office.

Year 2: Year 2 players do not need to wear a uniform.
