The spirit of the Club is in good heart and this is reflected in the enthusiasm and efficiency of its present day management. Whilst the life style of a rugby club is a team thing it also derives some of its status from the special achievements of individual members, both players and administrators. Thus the Kia Toa Club is entitled to be proud that 8 of its senior players have worn the All Black jersey, 6 women players have worn the Black Fern jersey; and do not forget the numbers who have worn the New Zealand colours in Sevens, Maori All Blacks, NZ U20s, NZ Divisional XV and the hundreds who have worn the green and white representative colours.  Likewise the contribution of some of its administrators in areas above club level has contributed it its prestige.  Two of the latter have been Presidents of the New Zealand Rugby Union and both with the added laurels of Life Membership of the Manawatu Rugby Union and the Referees Association with distinction in many varied offices.

KIA TOA CLUBROOMS - CLOVERLEA TAVERN

Our Clubrooms are located at the Cloverlea Function Centre on Tremaine Avenue.  This is a great venue for the club, offering us exclusive use of a great facility which offers a great space for our Club members and whanau as our Kia Toa home.  The venue is a large separate area with full bar facilities separate from the public tavern, exclusively for our Kia Toa whanau and guests.  We look forward to welcoming you to our clubrooms for our double blue family.
