What a great day at the beautiful Lake Tikitapu, although a little fresh! 

Congratulations to: Sebastian, Taylor, Ollie & Jack.

Sebastian & Ollie were up first in the 3.5k swim. Ollie took out 2nd in his age group & 2nd for NZSSs coming in 9/339 swimmers with a time of 45.05 and a good 9min pb on last year. Sebastian had a great first long swim at this lake with a time of: 59.23, coming 5th in his age group & 128/339 swimmers.

Next up was Jack and Taylor swimming the 1k. Jack took out 1st place in his age group & 1st for NZSSs and a 3rd overall - 3/118 swimmers with a time of 12.28! Taylor did it tough - without a wetsuit!! Great first 1k swim at this lake, getting a time of 17.50, 53/118 swimmers and a new 1k pb!

This swim is always one of the coldest open water swims of the season. But all did so well and should be extremely proud!
