Nth Island Dressage Championship
(MWC Team)


  • Selection of the Team is held at a Dressage Trial usually early November.

  • To trial a rider must have met the Rally Rules and have their application signed by their Club District Commissioner confirming that they capable of consistently riding a DNZ level 2 test scoreing min 57% if a Junior, or level 3 scoring min 57% if a Senior.

  • A Contract agreeing to the MWC Pony Club conditions for the Dressage Team and a "Code of Conduct" must be signed by the rider and their parents/guardian before a person can trial.

  • Trialists will be required to ride a maximum of 2 tests in the Trial.  The first test must be ridden from memory but the second test may be called.

  • The MWC Team is made up of 3 Junior and 3 Senior riders + reserves.  Junior aged 15 and under, Senior aged 16+.
