Marian College Head of Sport Student Leaders 2024
Ella Isherwood
I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to represent Marian College as the co-head of sport.
During the 4 years I have been at school, I have participated in a wide variety of sports, including basketball and netball, which I am most passionate about.
As head of sport, encouraging and promoting the younger wahine to participate in as many sports as they can is my top goal to accomplish by the end of this school year.
This is so they can experience the Marian mana inside and out of school by either participating or going to support the other girls in their sports. I can't wait to fulfill others goals as well as my own, as I help organize and prepare the school's sports competitions and events. I hope to see you all down at the fields, courts, and turfs to inspire and show the values of Marian College.
Hannah Swain
I am honoured to be Co-Head of Sport here at Marian College for 2024.
I have been passionate about sport from a young age, participating in various teams and events throughout my school life, particularly Netball Umpiring. During my time here at Marian, the inclusivity of sport and having the support to achieve personal goals has been amazing.
As Head of Sport, my goal is to promote a supportive and enthusiastic sporting culture. I aim to encourage participation, teamwork, and personal growth amongst all students. Whether you’re an experienced athlete or looking to try something new, there is a place for you. I look forward to organising inter - school competitions and exciting sporting events that will inspire us to showcase the Marian values and our talents.
