REGISTRATIONS FOR 2025
Registrations for all players wishing to play for Marian College. The link to register is HERE
All players are required to pay a non-refundable $75 deposit prior to trials. Players who have not paid the $75 deposit will not be permitted to trial. Once initial payment has been made, full payment must be made by the first game of the season or arrangements in place for an automatic payment.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
Subscriptions for 2025 are:
Senior A/B team playing in the Senior grade on a Saturday at Nga Puna Wai and on a Wednesday: $350 per player
Under 15 - Under 18 teams playing at Nga Puna Wai: $230 per player
Year 10A playing in the Under 15 grade on a Saturday at Nga Puna Wai and on a Wednesday: $320 per player
Year 9A playing in the Under 14 grade on a Saturday at Hagley and on a Wednesday: $280 per player
Year 9 - Under 14 grade on a Saturday at Hagley Park: $200 per player
For your information an approximate breakdown of the fees are as follows:
Approximately 80-90% goes towards fees payable to Netball NZ, Zone fees and Christchurch Netball. The remainder goes towards costs associated with school sport levies, uniforms (dresses, coaches coats), team bags, equipment such as balls, bibs, training gear, and administration costs. Please note we do not pay our coaches.
UNIFORMS
The cost of the playing dresses purchased and kept as their own by players who are new to the club is $95.
The compulsory required red socks are also available on registration day. The cost of these is $17.
The club has also registered a plain navy polyprop that can now be worn on cold, wet days under player tops (for those playing outdoors). No other colours are permitted to be worn.
A small number of second hand dresses are available for purchase at a cost of $50. Sizes are limited. Please contact Rachel Parkin on rachelp@mariancollege.school.nz
COMPETITION COMMENCES
The first day of competition for the grades is:
Senior A team - Saturday 26 April 2025
All other teams - Saturday 3 May 2025

WEDNESDAY NETBALL IN WINTER
The Senior A, B and Year 9A and 10A netball teams only will play in the weekly Wednesday netball schools competition. Players will be required to register for this once teams are selected.
