Marist Albion RFC

Over the Easter weekend the Napier Old Boys Marist 12th grade team made their annual trip south to play 4 preseason games against Marist Albion Under 13's, Timaru Celtic, Ashburton Celtic and Christchurch Rugby Football Club.

For the visiting side, this trip creates great memories, hard rugby and the pinnacle of their time with NOBM Junior Rugby.

We were pleased to once again host this side at Edgar MacIntosh Park. It was a bruising match and we picked up a very deserving win. Durign the aftermatch, NOBM presented us with a commemorative 2018 tour plaque and individual pins for the players. In return we sent the tour party home with Marist Albion beanies which I'm sure they have appreciated with winters early arrival across the country.

We look forward to the start of the Canterbury Metro junior season on Saturday 28th April.
