The Marlborough Tennis Association organises all interclub tennis in Marlborough and promotes the game of tennis throughout the region.  The Association forms part of the Canterbury region, together with Nelson and the West Coast. Although we fall under the Canterbury region we are autonomous and organise all tennis events in our region, both financially and organisationally.

The aim of the Association is to foster and promote the game of tennis in the Marlborough region.

The MTA comprises of a committee elected by the Clubs in the Marlborough region and a part-time administrator. Sub-committees (along with many volunteers) cover tournaments, junior coaching, club development, team selection and interclub competitions.

The annual AGM is held in August and monthly committee meetings are held during the year.
