Years 9-13 Athletics 2025

All students are encouraged to participate in our School Athletics Day which will be held in March.

No registration is required for athletics, however if you are interested in competing at the North Island Champs or New Zealand Champs then please express your interest by emailing Rosie on rosie.kirkpatrick@marsden.school.nz. You will then receive any information that comes through to the Sports Department about those events. 

LEVELS  
Years 9 - 13

TERMS  
Terms 1 and 4.

COST 
Costs will be confirmed per event. They will depend on modes of transport, number of events entered etc.

IMPORTANT DATES

COMMITMENT

Top athletes from the Term 1 Athletics Day Years 9 - 13 will be selected to compete in the College Sport Wellington Regional Athletics Day which will be held at Newtown Park Stadium.

A Wellington team will be selected from these championships for the North Island Athletics Championships.

UNIFORM

Marsden athletics singlet top and shorts or PE uniform.

Marsden Athletics Crop Top available for students to borrow for competitions. 

COACHING

If you would like to receive extra coaching for Athletics, please contact the Sports Department and they will put you into contact with the appropriate people.
