Years 9-13 Tennis 2025

Registrations for Year 9-13 tennis are for competitions only, so are not suitable for those new to tennis.

We do not offer lessons for Year 9-13 students at school during the day, however please get in touch with the Sports Office if you are interested in lessons and we can put you in touch with a coach.

LEVELS     

Years 9 - 13

TERMS       

One day competitions run in Term 1, and there is a junior one day tournament in Term 4. 

We are hoping to enter a 5 person team into the Summer Pentangular Tournament to be held at Nga Tawa on March 9th & 10th. All who register will be contacted to asses interest levels.

GAME LENGTH

2 short sets (to 4 games), and a tiebreaker to 10 if it is 1 set all. 

COST      

$20 per player if entering into the CSW Premier Tennis Championships.

$10 per player for entry into the Open Individual Championships or Junior Championships.

TEAM SELECTION

There will be no formal trials, teams will be decided based on Topdog rankings.

CSW EVENTS

NATIONAL TOURNAMENT

TBC if Marsden will enter a team into this tournament, only if they have a strong ability in the weekly competition 

UNIFORM 

Senior A: Marsden singlet and tennis skirt or black shorts.

All other teams: PE shirt and either PE shorts or tennis skirt.
