Y5-8 TENNIS COACHING 2024

We are thrilled to offer a variety of tennis coaching opportunities to cater for all levels and aspirations in 2024.

COACHING OPTIONS

Year 1-4 lunchtime Tennis Lessons

These sessions are for year 1-4 students who would like to give Tennis a go and have fun with their friends. 

Lead by a student coach 

FREE!


Large group lunchtime Tennis lessons

These sessions are for year 5-8 students who would like to grow their Tennis skills in a fun group setting. 

6-10 students per group    

$90 per student per term (6 sessions)


Small group/Private Tennis lessons

These sessions are for year 7&8 students who would like to devolop their Tennis skills, with focused and personalised trainings from coach Darren Ward. We recommend these sessions for those wishing to compete.

Private - 3 Students per lesson 

Lessons take place during a timetabled class 

$379.50 per group per term (6 sessions) this cost is shared between the students in the group, private individual sessions are full price. 


FOCUS for all Tennis at Marsden

Instill a passion for tennis in children of all ages and abilities;

  • Develop basic tennis skills;
  • Provide a positive, structured learning environment;
  • Make further opportunities available for keen players;
  • Create a depth of competitive players that can represent their school, club, region or country.​​​​​​​

     
COMMITMENT       
Tennis coaching will run for approximately 6 weeks in Term 1 and Term 4.

Students will be charged upfront for all sessions. There will be 2 rain dates accounted for within the initial fee, however even if the weather is not conducive to training on those 2 make-up dates, the fee will remain the same. 

Lessons will be run by experienced Tennis coaches Caitlin and Darren Ward. 

Term 1 Lunchtime Group Lesson Dates:

Group 1  - Tuesday (TBC)

Group 2 - Wednesday (TBC)

Group 3- Friday (TBC)


AIMS GAMES            

If students are interested in competing as an individual at AIMS Games, they are able to do so.

UNIFORM                 
PE uniform. Good quality sports shoes are required.
                   

EQUIPMENT                      
Tennis racquet needed - the staff at the Khandallah Tennis Club Shop are happy to help with this!
